Charanka Solar Park
Coming in at number 9, the Charanka solar Park is one of the few non-US solar power plants in the top-10 list. With an output of 224MW it is the largest existing solar power farm in India; however the construction of a 1000MW plant is currently being planned. It is expected to be completed by 2025.

Meanwhile, the neighbouring country of Pakistan has already started building its own 1000MW solar power plant, which is expected to completed and operational by the end of 2016. At the moment, this Pakistani plant seems to be the first solar power farm in the world to have a net nominal power of 1000MW.
